Tsjechisch Film Festival focust op Hollandse film

AMSTERDAM (ANP) - Het Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in Tsjechië besteedt dit jaar extra aandacht aan de Nederlandse film. Voor het programma Focus on The Netherlands zijn dertien Nederlandse films geselecteerd, waaronder zes speelfilms.

Dat maakte de Nederlandse organisatie Holland Film dinsdag bekend. Enkele films die te zien zijn in het Focus on The Netherlands-programma zijn Nadine (2007), Forever (2006), Guernsey (2005) en Bluebird (2004). Het 43e Karlovy Vary International Film Festival wordt gehouden van 4 tot en met 12 juli.

De Nederlandse speelfilm Dunya & Desie wordt vertoond tijdens het Variety Critics' Choice: Europe Now!-programma.

Actrice Johanna ter Steege is dit jaar lid van de Grand Jury.
